CLIP IN CEILING SYSTEM

These concealed suspension systems allow easy snap in the panels to achieve a flat and uniform ceiling surface without the use of any tools. Ceiling panels are designed for easy removal and re-installation. Such panels are made of polyester powder-coated aluminium plates, that are available in different thickness ranging from 0.5 to 0.8mm.

Panels come with or without perforation. Down lighting, conventional lighting and other M&E works can be incorporated easily into the panels.

Perforation

Panels are either plain or perforated.
The standard perforation is 1.8mm dia. holes on 3.3 mm diagonal square pattern giving a 19% open area. Perforation with 2.3mm, 5mm and other diameters are also available

Sound Absorption

The back of the perforated panels comes with acoustic material, SOUNDTEX C 1986 S/W. This material is non-flammable and meets the requirement of building material class B1.

Din (German Industrial Standard) ,
EN (European Standard)

SOUNDTEX acoustic non-woven C 1986, in conjunction with perforated steel sheet panels, has been tested for its sound absorption performance by The German Fraunhofer Institute for Constructional Physics (IBP) in Stuttgart under the certification Mark P-BA 290/1996 to P-BA 292/1996 in accordance with DIN/EN 20 354 : 1993.

The Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) was calculated in accordance with ASTM C423-90a.

The degree of Sound Absorption was determined as follow for three perforation patterns with a ceiling cavity of 400mm.
